Our new record is coming out on FYO Records on February 9th, which is just around the corner -
we'll be playing some shows in Philadelphia, New York, and Boston to celebrate.

Hello there. We are a large
band from Philadelphia and
New York. The songs on the
right are from our new album:
Ben wrote the first two, and
the last one, Paris/Happydent,
is a collaboration between
Ben and Christopher. The
new record is called PICTURE
and it will be out soon.

Iguana Music FundExciting news: we were recently awarded a grant as part of Club Passim's Iguana Music Fund! Club Passim is one of our favorite venues in Boston and they've always been very supportive of the band. We'll be using this money to buy everything we've ever wanted: a trampoline, an Asian palm civet, gasoline, and some badass dance moves.

We travel far and wide with tons of instruments, lamps, and a penguin. We make venues smaller. We make music with violins, drums, clarinets, basses, trumpets, keyboards, guitars, banjos, harmonicas, recorders, flutes, a vibraphone, and our voices. We visited some pretty amazing places this winter with some pretty outstanding people, as you can see below.

Here are some pictures of the band:

Meanwhile, Ben and Alec are churning out beautiful and astounding new music at an alarming rate and we're thinking that the next record after this new one will be about five hours long and only available as a set of 36 cassette tape singles. There may only be 3 copies, but it'll blow your mind. In the meantime, get ready for PICTURE, which will be released in physical form in early February. You can buy our first, self-titled record from FYO Records, iTunes, your nearest Cuddle Magic performance. You can also see other digital incarnations of us at Facebook and MySpace. We are not tweeting or feeding at this time.

We have many friends and supporters to whom we owe eternal gratitude. Specifically, Lake Street Dive, Anthony Coleman, Sarah Pedinotti & Railbird, Joy Kills Sorrow, Festival Youth Orchestra, Boca Chica, The Rex Complex, Full Tang, Miss Tess, Matthew Loiacano, Eli Keszler, and Josh Carrigan, as well as a whole bunch of other people.
